The China-Iran Cultural and Tourism Cooperation Friendly Exchange Conference and the Contemporary Iran Photography Exhibition officially kicked off

China and Iran, though separated by thousands of miles, have a long history of friendly exchanges. The China-Iran Cultural and Tourism Cooperation Friendly Exchange Conference & Contemporary Iran Photography Exhibition, hosted by Iran’s National Ministry of Culture, Iran’s National Ministry of Tourism, and the Iranian Embassy in China, supported by the Iran-China Friendship Association, Iran National Documentary Association, and Iran National Museum, and co-organized by Qujiang Yin Modern Art Center and Xi’an Jiuye Cultural and Tourism Industry Development Co., Ltd., has grandly opened at Qujiang Yin Modern Art Center in Xi’an.

At the exchange conference, the “International Friendly Little Ambassadors” program and the “Overseas Library Initiative” were officially launched. A joint commencement ceremony was also held for the documentary China’s Imprint in Iran, directed by Mr. He Fei—China-Iran Friendship Ambassador and Resident Representative of Iran National Directors’ Association in China. These activities yielded fruitful outcomes, enriching the achievements of the exchange conference.

Guided by the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the “Glorious Silk Road Embracing Shaanxi” series of activities, with the theme of “Understanding China Starts from Shaanxi”, actively promotes multi-level and wide-ranging international exchanges and cooperation in economy, trade, culture, tourism, education, and other fields. It continuously tells China’s stories well, spreads Shaanxi’s voice, and consolidates and expands international sister-city relationships.
