On July 4, a grand art feast transcending cultures and borders—the “Brilliant Movement · Lotus Charm of the East” China-Netherlands Modern Art Exchange Exhibition—was solemnly inaugurated at the Silk Road International Cultural and Art Center in Xixian New Area.
The exhibition is hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, co-organized by the Fucha Town Cultural Industry Group Co., Ltd. of Xixian New Area and the “Glorious Silk Road Embracing Shaanxi” Organizing Committee, and co-hosted by Xi’an Jiuye Cultural Tourism Industry Development Co., Ltd. and the Dutch Classical Art School Alliance.
Developing international sister-city relationships serves as a crucial window for China to understand the world and for the world to understand China. The opening of the “Brilliant Movement·Lotus Charm of the East” China-Netherlands Modern Art Exchange Exhibition marks the beginning of a new chapter in artistic exchange between the two nations, showcasing the broad prospects for their cooperation in the cultural sector. During the exhibition, nearly 100 wonderful works by Chinese and Dutch artists will be displayed, blending traditional and modern aesthetics with Eastern and Western influences, offering art enthusiasts a dual feast for both the eyes and the soul.
