Creative Concept

Using natural cotton as the medium for clothing design, the core of the creation is the concept of “interdependence”—the symbiotic relationship between humans, nature, and manual labor. Rooted in the insistence on “simplicity, wearability, and respect for the rhythms of nature,” each piece attempts to return to life itself.

Features of the work

The uniqueness of the work lies in its artistic tailoring techniques, free pattern design, and multi-layered fabric texture shaping: through layering fabrics, hand-sewing, and stitching, while retaining the intentionally left handmade marks, imperfections are allowed to occur naturally. At the same time, it integrates fabric collage and pattern elements to form a vibrant and fluid shape, presenting a bright, playful, and lively atmosphere.

The artist chose handwoven cotton fabrics in natural, unblemished colors to convey a pure and light imagery—like mist, clouds, and the warmth of sunlight. The colors and forms maintain restraint and tranquility, not interfering with other artworks, but rather serving to complement, balance, and emphasize them, making the overall beauty more complete.

The work is also presented as a spatial installation, connecting and engaging in dialogue with other artworks in the exhibition, constructing a landscape of emotion within the “Garden of Happiness”: where people, nature, art, and imagination coexist and blend harmoniously.

Happy Garden:

The Garden Of Happiness
