On May 11, 2019, Shaanxi Province and Siem Reap Province established a sister city relationship. 2025 will mark the sixth anniversary of this partnership. On February 22, 2025, the “Silk Road Blossoms, Encountering Shaanxi” organizing committee’s “Take You to See Our Sister Cities” program team visited Siem Reap, Cambodia.
