CHAYUTPONG KHRUEAYU

Chayupong Kreauyoo is a contemporary visual artist rooted in Mae Sot, Tak Province, Thailand. His practice is deeply informed by the complexities of borderland experiences, where diverse culturals , identities, and ways of life intersect.

His work dive into the complication between his personal memory and inner emotional states, while critically exploring the relationship between humans and their environment within a contemporary context. Drawing inspiration from the dynamic cultural of Mae Sot, he reflects on coexistence and transformation.

Working primarily in painting and mixed media, he employs color as an unique language to convey emotional intensity and intuitive expression. His works embody a poetic sensibility, revealing the fragility of human experience and the quiet beauty of imperfection—serving as a visual meditation on existence, spirituality, and the search for meaning in an ever-changing world.

The starting point of my paintings arises from stories and experiences encountered during specific moments of emotional immersion. My work is driven by a constant search for places that embody both human and spiritual experiences that feel deeply connected.

I often perceive these experiences through contemplation, studying thesubtle hints of nature that reflect my own existence—both the visible and the unseen. Through this process, I come to understand the expression of emotion in art. Using painting as a way to express subjectivity, visual language, and the emotional states of the artist.
