The “Enduring Friendship between China and the ROK: Modern Art Exchange Exhibition,” jointly organized by the Fucha Town Cultural Industry Group Co., Ltd. of Xixian New Area and the “Glorious Silk Road Embracing Shaanxi” Organizing Committee, co-organized by Xi’an Jiuye Cultural Tourism Industry Development Co., Ltd., and supported by South Korea’s KARTISM Gallery, was grandly held in Fucha Town, Xi’an, Shaanxi Province.
Wan Xin, Level 3 Researcher of the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Kim Mi-sun, Director of South Korea’s KARTISM Gallery, and Cho Hong-rae, Chief Vice President of the Korea-China Business Association for the Three Northwestern Provinces, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Tao Peng, Deputy General Manager of the Fucha Town Group, also gave a presentation on the event.
At the exchange exhibition, South Korean guest Kim Mi-sun and artist Fatdoo, along with Chinese guest Chang Yunfeng and artist Wang Jianwei, participated in the Modern Art Exchange Forum. Using tea as a medium and painting as a bridge, they discussed the integration and development of Chinese and South Korean cultures.
During the forum, Chinese and South Korean artists painted together, learning from and inspiring each other. This deepened the friendship between the two peoples and contributed the strength of Shaanxi to the evergreen friendship between the two nations.
Following the forum, the guests visited the modern cultural works exhibition. The array of modern art pieces from China and South Korea were each imbued with the shared aspiration for friendly exchanges between the two countries.
